this  weekend

August 23rd, 24th, & 25th

What to do this weekend with your family? There is so much to do for families and kids. We invite you to check out our events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do!

Join us on August 23rd for some family fun. The fun kicks off at 6 pm with waterslides, moonbounces, games, snack bar specials, and more. Then, catch the movie Migration at dusk!

At the JBF Sale in Glen Mills, you get WAY MORE for WAY LESS.
You'll get name-brand items for your growing kids at 50-90% off retail prices. You name it...we've got it! Clothing (infant to teen), books, toys, strollers, furniture, and much more!
See why this sale was named one of the Top Ten consignment sales in the Nation - seven years in a row!

Join West Chester Parks & Rec on Friday, August 23rd to enjoy a movie in Barclay Park! The movie will begin at dusk. We suggest showing up early to claim spots and set up blankets or chairs. We look forward to seeing you there!

We too wish summer break didn't have to end so soon, but don't worry... we have a big celebration planned for this Friday, August 23rd, 6-8 p.m. at New Garden Park!

Join Colonial Gardens on August 24th for our annual release of butterflies! The event is free to attend, with no tickets required. Release reservations allow the purchaser a butterfly to release during one of the four release times!

Enjoy a train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and return on a warm summer afternoon. Pack lunch during our stop at the Glen Mills train station picnic grove.

Food Trucks, BeerWine, Hard Cider, Hard Seltzer, Live Music, Family Friend

Celebrate summer—the season of vibrant hues, sunny days, and starlit evenings—here at Longwood. Realize spectacular beauty with horticultural splendor at every turn. Revel in brilliant blooms to stunning vistas from our all-new Conservatory Overlook. Refresh your senses with the thrill of dancing fountains. Recharge with quality time spent with friends and family. Revisit nature. Remember the wow.

Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.

Burn off some energy while having some fun while skating with the family.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids’ birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you’ll see why we’re more than just a trampoline park.
