A list of the best things to do in Chester County

this  weekend

July 26th, 27th, and 28th

What to do this weekend with your family? There is so much to do for families and kids. We invite you to check out our events calendar, with many family-friendly events and things to do on the weekends and every day of the week. We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do!

Join us on July 26th for a FREE showing of The Marvels (PG-13) and fun outdoor activities! Enjoy waterslides, moonbounces, sports, games, gymnastics, and more!

Spy Day at the Chester County History Center will allow children to learn to read and write in cipher and code, find hidden messages in everyday objects, explore the science of invisible ink, and develop their secret identity. They’ll also learn about real spies who operated in the area during the 18th century and beyond.

Enjoy the stage show or stroll through Fiddler's Cove to listen as musicians play tunes using a variety of instruments such as guitars, banjos, and mandolins, performing styles such as bluegrass, old-time, and gospel.

Children and those new to string instruments are encouraged to learn by observing and talking to the musicians in this relaxed atmosphere.

Celebrate our favorite frog's 5th birthday on July 26, 2024 by saving $5.00 off all admission passes. Celebration begins at 1PM with singing to Twiggy, prizes and a sweet treat!

The Kimberton Fair runs  July 24th thru Saturday night (27th). Fireworks are scheduled for Friday evening. We hope to see ya on the Fair midway. Don't forget the Fair Donuts, Hamburger & Hot Dogs and our ice-cold Birch beer. There's a lot to do and see at the Kimberton Fair!

Enjoy a train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and return on a warm summer afternoon. Pack lunch during our stop at the Glen Mills train station picnic grove.

Food Trucks, BeerWine, Hard Cider, Hard Seltzer, Live Music, Family Friend

Celebrate summer—the season of vibrant hues, sunny days, and starlit evenings—here at Longwood. Realize spectacular beauty with horticultural splendor at every turn. Revel in brilliant blooms to stunning vistas from our all-new Conservatory Overlook. Refresh your senses with the thrill of dancing fountains. Recharge with quality time spent with friends and family. Revisit nature. Remember the wow.

Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.

Burn off some energy while having some fun while skating with the family.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids’ birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you’ll see why we’re more than just a trampoline park.
