A town favorite is coming up this Sunday, September 17th – The Chester County Restaurant and Food Truck Festival! From 12pm-5:30pm, there will be over 50 food vendors, 100 non-food vendors, music throughout the downtown, plus a beer & wine garden.
Join Thomas the Tank Engine™, a full-sized operating steam locomotive, as he greets friends of all ages. Thomas and his friends return to the Strasburg Rail Road in 2023!
Thomas the Tank Engine — the famous steam locomotive from the Island of Sodor — will pull your 45-minute excursion ride (4.5 miles east and 4.5 miles returning west on the same track) through the beautiful Lancaster County countryside.
This is the full 45-minute train ride to Paradise, Pennsylvania pulled by the fully operational steam Thomas the Tank Engine.
The Lancaster Balloon Festival is a one-of-a-kind event in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Hosted in the village of Bird-in-Hand, PA the festival features the mass launch of dozens of big, beautiful balloons, family entertainment, delicious food, and Amish goods.
The Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix is a unique event where spectators experience the sights and sounds of historically significant cars and motorcycles traversing a 2 mile course set throughout the city streets of Coatesville. The CIVGP is the only exhibition event of this type on the East Coast.
Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests can enjoy trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed shows and parades, participating in our Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume.
We hope you'll join us for the 4th annual Kimberton Arts & Music Festival, a free community event on Saturday, September 16 at Kimberton Park's Miller Amphitheater from 2-7pm.
The event will feature live music, local art & craft vendors, food, kids activities & more.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food, contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.
Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and return on a warm summer afternoon. Pack a lunch to have during our stop at the Glen Mills train station picnic grove.
Imagination Street a new play space that kids and parents can enjoy together. For kids (ages 0–9), it is a meaningful, hands-on play experience in nine, interactive, themed playhouses that form a “city” to explore. For parents, there’s a cafe-style lounge to gather, drink coffee, or get some work done. Because the space is an open concept, parents are in close proximity of their children the entire time. They offer open play sessions, private parties, events, and more.
