What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.
Come celebrate October with the usual Faire, Food, LIVE Music, Crafts and More!
Westtown Day at Oakborne Park
This community day is free and open to everyone. The historic Oakbourne Park and Mansion will feature live bands, carnival games, petting zoo animals, food trucks, Civil and Revolutionary War re-enactors, pumpkin decorating, local schools, vendors, and organizations. Take a tour of the mansion. Have your kids “dig” for local archaeological artifacts. Explore a police cruiser, fire truck, or ambulance. There’s something for everyone of all ages, but please leave your pets at home due to the petting zoo.
Parking Lot Horrors Haunted Drive-Thru
Exton Square Mall will show Halloween movies in its parking lot throughout October. While moviegoers watch the on-screen frights, costumed staff will roam the crowds and scare audiences sitting in their cars.
Join us for a day of homemade soup and chili | baked treats and hot apple cider, thrifting and quality artisan vendors, live music and kids' activities and SO MUCH MORE.
Our annual pumpkin harvest season at Milky Way Farm runs Sept 25-Oct 31, 2021. For Saturdays and Sundays, individual tickets must be purchased in advance to limit capacity in response to COVID19 regulations. Stroll to the pumpkin patch, wander through the corn maze, take family photos, and visit the farm animals as part of your 2-hour $5 admission ticket. Bring your own wagon to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products that may be purchased during your visit. There will not be free hayrides however we are offering private hayride wagon trips to the patch for $75 (the wagon can fit 20 family and friends).
Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, participating in our interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats!
Over 100 spectacular scarecrows line the autumn-tinted pathways of Peddler’s Village during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village, on display from September 6 through October 30! For eight fun-filled weeks, view and vote for your favorite larger-than-life creations in this Bucks County tradition. Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.
Enjoy fun fall activities, including our annual Scarecrow-Making Workshops (reserve your spot online) and pumpkin painting, live entertainment every weekend, and delicious fall-inspired specials at Village restaurants.
Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire The Renaissance fair occurring over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
