Due to the new COVID guidelines, many venues have had to cut back on the number of visitors they can allow.



Enjoy a 90 minute round trip to Glen Mills and return on a peaceful Sunday afternoon while remembering those who have served. All veterans, active military, police, fire, EMS, and first responders ride for a special reduced fare!




Join Ranger Conlin for a fun day of Family Fishing at Hibernia County Park. All equipment will be provided and the PA fishing license requirement will be waived for the program. Please enter the park at the Lions Head entrance at 248 Wagontown Road. Continue into the park and meet at the Children's pond.




Purchase your tickets in advance to pick your own strawberries at Highland Orchards



East Goshen Township Parks and Recreation is proud to host the inaugural performance of Carnival of Ruin, a play with sustainability at its central theme. All costumes, stage props even the big top itself are constructed of post-consumer recycled materials! The audience will be a part of the show and experience and will travel to three separate stage areas throughout the play. Tickets to the performance are free, but limited to 100 participants for each start time.

In collaboration with local children's author, Jamie Kleman, and 18 local businesses (restaurants, shops, and organizations), Kennett Library is proud to present the Kennett Square Story Stroll!

During the month of May, pages of "It's Not Mean to be Green" will be placed in the front windows of local businesses so children and families can stroll leisurely down the downtown blocks and read together a story of "going green".



May will be Strawberry Month at Peddler’s Village. Every day in May, savor strawberry-themed food and drink specials at our restaurants and eateries. Stop by on weekends for live entertainment and strawberry treats served at outdoor food tents.




The new Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink will offer outdoor roller skating at Dilworth Park from Friday, April 30 through Sunday, June 27. The rink’s retro-inspired design will feature a checkerboard floor and market lights. A colorful installation of overhead hula-hoops.



Elmo’s Springtacular at Sesame Place is filled with furry fun and exciting events! On weekends from April 24 through June 20, join in on the fun with an exciting lineup of meet & greets, music, magic, pirate adventures, and fireworks. With limited capacity, physical distancing increased cleaning, and more, it’s a great time to get back to fun in our spacious outdoor park.



Come sail with us! Kalmar Nyckel offers river cruises, day sails, and appearances from May through October in 2021. Sails are limited to 25 passengers and reservations required.




Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest is one of the Philadelphia Waterfront's favorite Summertime traditions featuring outdoor roller skating, boardwalk games and rides, mini-golf, and great food and drinks, all with soaring views of the Delaware River and Ben Franklin Bridge. Summerfest is the perfect place for a family outing, a school trip, or a meet-up with friends.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.


Virtual Event

Music with Miss Jill is an interactive music program for toddlers through Kindergarten. Weekly activities consist of songs, fingerplays, puppets, props, and musical games. Each week is theme-oriented.
Please register with an email address attached to a Zoom account. Zoom invitations will be sent out 24 hours in advance.
