Schmata Productions Community Youth Theater announces its production of Fiddler on the Roof JR. to be held on June 2-3, 2018 at West Chester University MainStage Theater, University and High Streets, West Chester, PA. This hit show set in the Russian shtetl of Anatevka, centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to marry off his daughters and instill in them a sense of tradition in the face of growing anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia.
Fiddler on the Roof Jr. will be staged for three performances only: Saturday, June 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by emailing tix@schmataproductions.org.
