Each week, we will bake a different traditional European cookie and learn about the spices that give it its special flavor. In our home kitchen, we will make almonds crescents, gingerbread, fruity oatmeal cookies and speculaas. Your child will become familiar with basic baking ingredients as we pour, mix, roll out the dough and decorate and shape our cookies. At the end of each class, your child will receive a bag of cookies along with the recipe to take home. So, while you have some time to do your Holiday shopping and decorating, your child will make sure that there are warm cookies for the whole family.
